The Shenandoah River Road Project In-Progress

We had the pleasure of rehabbing a 1950’s cabin in historic Harper’s Ferry, in the Shannondale neighborhood ‘on the mountain’.

We started by doing a great deal of much-needed cleanup of the outdoor property, including cleaning and gutting inside. Our goal was always to maintain the ‘treehouse in the woods’ feeling while updating the property’s layout, finishings, bath and kitchen. It was in serious need of some updates and we’re glad to be the ones that did it!

The photos at right show the property’s ‘before’ state, with a glimpse into the gutting and cleanup process.

We are delighted to have worked with the talented and customer-focused team of Brandi Marcum and Lisa Byers from Pearson Smith Realty on the purchase and listing of our project home. We cannot recommend both of them enough for your real estate needs in the WV Panhandle!

If you are looking for a new-to-you home in WV’s Eastern Panhandle or the surrounding areas, contact us!

We specialize in house refurbishment and in bringing homes to market in the best possible condition, ready for our clients to move in and make a home.

What can we do for YOU?

Why are we called, 'Four Apostles Realty'?

When we began working together and forming our partnership, we quickly realized that our names held something very special:

Peter Mihaly (Michael in Hungarian) Lukacs (Luke)

John Matthew Kalthoff

Between us, we are pleased to bear the names of four of the early Apostles of Christ, and the name of the Archangel Michael. (While Luke wasn't one of the original 12 Disciples, he was a student and companion to Paul, and considered an Apostle).

Since our primary goal is to provide service to our clients and to do so with the utmost integrity, we were proud to name our company Four Apostles Realty in honor of our namesakes.

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles: Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot, Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
